For Onyx that choice was taken from him.

It was supposed to be a simple bike carrier job that turned into him on the ground with a group of Crypts pointing a gun in his face. Now he has a choice to make to live the life of a college student or to dive headfirst into a life that he only heard about.

A choice in dying now or dying later as is the fate of the ones looked down on by society.

The world of Akeldama has been plagued with monsters as long as anyone can remember. Nights filled with screams of the dying and the days filled with the smell of decay. The prayers of the church have failed. The swords of the Knights have been broken.

So, it falls on Vladimir, the gravedigger, to save the people across this land. With the help of a mad scientist, Vladimir fights. But like the old saying goes one must be wary when they face monsters, lest they become a monster themselves.
